just kidding... it depends - part time, full time, do you provide car/insurance/benefits, CDL, bodyguard, etc. for our drivers, my company supplies cars, insurance, benefits, uniform, etc. and starting pay is $13/hr. must have clean driving record, CDL not required.

yep. 40 hour weeks, occasional overtime, we provide cars, fuel, benefits (medical, dental, add'l life coverage, 401k, w.c., comp. gym access, paid vacay - all the norms). note- this is for corporate work, personal drivers might be different. our most tenured driver (manages the fleet, works 7 days if need be, etc.) earns 90k+ in a good year, so it's not underpayment by any means. not to mention he just got his 20 year rolex.

This is actually a good question, and I hope others answer. My family could use a "sometimes" driver, probably 8-10 hours per week for short trips, school drop off, etc. I don't like using the "dial a car" type places. What are some other good options?

It costs $2.50 to start, and $0.40 per 1/5 of a mile. They are very easy to hire. Just raise your hand.

Is there a company that provides part-time non-corporate driving services... where a family can pre-book regular rides, and the company can supply (most of the time) the same driver? And if so, how much does it cost?

Yes, I believe that is how it often works. I have some friends who do this. They purchase a certain amount of hours from the service & then just call/use the driver as needed. They have regular drivers. But, they also use them a lot. So, I don't know how often a casual customer gets the same driver.
