Discussion about
Anyone ever use this place in Astoria called Build it Green NYC? They sell salvaged house fixtures and the like. I was thinking about going out to them to buy a bathroom vanity. http://www.bignyc.org/

I haven't bought from them but have donated. They're great with larger items (built-ins, etc)--they come in, haul it off, and you get a tax receipt. Better than tossing the stuff into the dumpster. Nice to know someone else will get to use it and it won't wind up in a landfill.
