Funny. I check it too, but nothing interesting happening on the discussion boards. LKGSoh, How's your house building going?

We just finished and slept there for the first time last weekend. Just in time for the winter high season. HaHa. Now we are tackling the landscaping. We are totally over budget of course but it looks great. Would not be able to replicate the house for the money we paid if we bought it newly built. So we think we went the right route buying a total gut job. There are tons of houses for sale around me for the price I put into my house - and they all need a TON of work. Vinyl pools, dated baths, ugly flooring, etc. I think homeowners overestimate the appeal of their houses that have not been touched in 10-15 years. Let alone 30 years like my place was.

Hamptons are so 2010, the decade of the North Folk begins now!!

Please....no more people from the Hamptons, coming to the North Fork....we like our low-key existence.
