Insurance

For all of you brokers out there...what is everyone doing for medical coverage. I have been covered by empire blue cross for more than ten years. They have applied for a 17.9% increase in premiums, which would bring my monthly payments to approximately $1,525 for HMO (single) coverage. I do require prescription coverage, as I take a fair amount of medication for my diabetes and do want to remain with my long-time physician. Does anyone out there have a low cost option? Some plans I have reviewed have very high deductibles ($5,000) and higher drug costs. Curious as to how many of us are in the same boat. Thanks for any feedback.
