Discussion about
Does anybody know how I should maintain reclaimed wood flooring? What material should I use for daily cleaning and what for weekly/bimonthly? Also, is it safe to use steamer on reclaimed wood flooring? Thanks

How to clean wood floors is actually a very polarizing question! There are people who will use wet solutions, and there are people who will tell you water/liquid is very bad for floors.

So consult your "floor guys" -- we are in the "dry" camp, and vaccuum and sweep our floors often, but only mop them when we "have to" -- every blue moon, using a damp, not wet, mop.

I certainly wouldn't use a steamer.

Non expert advice
Reclaimed wood is usually "drier" than regular average wood so that means it's more absorbant.
I would stay away from anything liquid including water(def no steam cleaning) ,regardless of how much sealant you have or dont have on the surface.
Vacuum and swiffer.
For trouble spots I'd use a damp microfiber cloth and some elbow grease.
