Discussion about 119 West 80th Street #GARDEN
Seems like the owners bought two uncombined units as a package, combined them, and will probably be selling them for less than the raw uncombined space.
I wonder how easy it is to fix the floor plan. I think it'd be better to open it all up and make it a one bedroom, if possible. Large 30' living room with an office nook in front of the guest bathroom, huge eat-in-kitchen space, one big bedroom with an en suite bathroom in the back. Hard to tell if the owners created so many little rooms because they wanted/needed them, or because there are structural elements that are preventing a more open space.
Right now, it's hard to identify the purpose of each room, and with each floor plan, the names keep changing. Adding to that, there is too some odd decor, too much furniture, wrong-scale furniture, and a lot of exposed piping that might not appeal to the masses. Kitchen layout is pretty bad, too.
I can't believe this is a recent renovation. Nothing about it makes sense.
Yes, it only really works as a 1 bedroom. Feels very choppy and needs kitchen/bath gut.
Looks like the railroad flat my great-grandmother used to live in when she was a building superintendent to make enough money to support her 11 kids after 2 husbands died in a row.
In other words, who the hell would pay all that money for that?
$395k, not a penny more.
Sounds like a good woman.
