Discussion about
Hello, I hired a attorney for my purchase of a studio in co-op (around $340K) in upper east. She initially told me that she will charge $1100 flat fee. But apparently, the fee does not include Due Diligence review, and she is asking for $300 extra for Due Diligence review. Is it common for attorney to charge extra for Due Diligence review? As far as I know Due Diligence review is always to be performed by buyer's attorney, why isn't it be included in part of flat fee? Thank you very much.
