Discussion about
Thinking of buying here but need renovations. Anyone live here? Done renovations? How is the coop board with deliberation time and approvals for replacing stove, cabinets in kitchen, kitchen floor, etc?

Lived as a tenant for a yr. Stay away is my advice. Drains are bad, the staff serves only the older residents and in general they are bad.

did you hear about anyone have issues with the coop board while you were there (sounds like you just rented)? Day to day staff doesn't concern me if that's what you were referring to as "in general they are bad" as much as a coop board.

I have looked in that building before. Believe they have a sister building on 80th street. I think the board is not too bad in terms of approval, but I sense a lot of rent control and building maintenance issues when i was there. Every apartment I see there is in bad shape.

Basically the building is in a bad shape and most apartments do not get sunlight.
