Discussion about
I've been looking for a five bedroom apartment on fifth, park, or CPW under 90th street for about a year now, and I havent found anything I've liked, does anyone know of any?
There are very few rental buildings with 5 bedrooms+, as built. Do you have to be on Park, Fifth or CPW?
The 2 buildings I know of with large combos are the Montana and Tower67 on the UWS.
I think what you need is called a "house".
what's wrong with 700 Park?

That 12'x8' bedroom off the kitchen should be just fine for a kid without a W2. (Recycling one of west81st's better lines.)
As nyc10023 said, not many five-bedrooms ever built, so easy to pick through:

Ah, sorry - are you looking to buy or to rent? I assumed to rent, because there have been quite a few large combos for sale. What's your budget?
On CPW, even w/o doing a search, I across 2 park-facing 6es at 55CPW that can be combined 5E/F.
I'm looking to buy, and price doesn't really matter, because I'm just trying to get educated
and nyc10023 how big would 5E/F be if combined?
Probably 3500sqft-ish.
Or what about the 2 duplexes on the market at 101CPW?
Or the listings at Beresford?
There is a 5 bed, 5 bath, 3 balconies Condo for sale for $2,395,000.
York & 80ST. 15th Floor. 2,450 SF. No board approval needed.

There is a 5 bed, 5 bath condo for sale on Upper East Side. 3 balconies. 2,450SF.
$2,395,000. The Carriage House condominium. 510 E 80 ST.
both are quite over priced, and one of the duplexes on 101 CPW doesnt have views.....do you know of any cheaper ones, I'm willing to renovate?

Cheap can't be your only criterion - because "low" sales prices sometimes mask a tough board and high liquidity qualifications.
So what you want is a 5 bedroom (you haven't said if it matters that the 5th is a maid's) on CPW, Fifth, Park with views, below 90th - and why below 90th?
And as cheap as possible - given those constraints. I'm questioning the 90th street boundary, because there are some really nice buildings north of that on Fifth & Park, not so much CPW.

Don't mind columbiacounty. He focuses on the thorns in the bouquet of roses.
ok, so let me change that, below 90th on CPW
