I have lived in this building since March 2011 and have encountered many issues within the apartment. The central air units in the apartment do not blow cool in the summer or hot air in the winter. Everytime there is a problem (at least every other week) they call a technician in who never can identify the core issue with the units and therefore cannot fix the problem. Right now I live in an apartment which no heat in the rooms and an entire family with a cold for about two weeks. Since I moved in I have had issues with most of the appliances including a refrigerator which was not installed properly, a microwave whose automatic door doesn't close properly and requires a manual push to seal the door, and water leakage from the windows during rain.
The biggest issue is that no one wants to assume responsibility for fixing any of the problems. The so called live in super is never around to help and the management company and sponsor just claim it is the other party's responsibility to fix any problems.
If you have any intention of purchasing a unit in this building make sure to check EVERYTHING. However, there are still things which you cannot effectively check during a walk through and will be discovered after you close. Those are the issues that the maintenance team and property manager will try their hardest to not fix.
