The Related Cos., a closely held NY developer was served with a subpoena as part of a federal inspector general's investigation of a business transaction with Fannie Mae. Fannie placed at least four people on administrative leave after learning of the investigation. The above according to the Wall Street Journal. Does anyone have the full link?

Companies and people get subpoenas all the time. It only means they want information, not that Related or anyone else is in trouble. They COULD be, but not necessarily.
