Discussion about
I really like BPC but I'm against the land leases and the different charges for each building. It almost seems arbitrary how much each building is charged with no end in sight and with no rhyme nor reason about future increases. Is there a list of which buildings are not on a land lease, or are all of them leases?

Are you planning on living in one building and then moving to another building randomly in the middle of the night?

Why would you care that each building has a different charge?

They are all on a land lease.

Re: and with no rhyme nor reason about future increases.

So is there any more rhyme or reason about future property tax increases for every other condo or coop in NYC?

real estate taxes go up, but they don't go up 20% in a year.

at least we know exactly what the 99 year lease terms are on the ground lease at OBBP (3% increases per year), and then we can purchase the land for $1.

As far as I know, they're all land leases.
