never heard of it. i interviewed california closets and a few other companies before calling Easycloset.com and doing it myself. Its essentially a super-customized IKEA closet -- you design it down to every detail (they have very nice ppl willing to work with you on the design) and its custom cut to the measurements of your specific closets, so its totally custom. The only difference is that you assemble it yourself, similar to IKEA. If you can handle IKEA, you can handle this. And its about half the cost of california closets. check them out.

My friend is using transFORM (transformhome.com) and so far loves them (although hasn't been installed yet - still in design phase).

We just used California Closets and highly recommend them. The designer we worked with was excellent-- extremely attentive and worked out a terrific system for us. If you would like his name please email me at streeteasymail@gmail.com We were really impressed with both the service and the finished product, which is both functional and very attractive. Would definitely use them again (and may yet for some closets that could still use a bit of help). IMO the price is good for what you get.

Agree with mh330. We uesed easyclosets for our master bedroom and hallway closets and they are great. The company was so easy to work with too which made the process painless.

I also used easyclosets. They are very helpful on the phone in assisting you on a design. If you don't want to put it together, ask your building's handyman to do it for you. Looks great and much cheaper than california closets.

I, too, know people who have been very happy with EasyClosets, but it is definitely not for everyone. I, for one, can't measure anything right. Even if I could, I ain't installin' nothin'!!!

Anyhow, in reference to companies like Transform, Manhattan Cabinetry, 212 (?), etc.--How do they compare pricewise?

Over a dozen years ago, I got quotes from Alpha Closets and Manhattan Cabinetry on the same system (not sure about the manifacturer/quality), and I think Alpha was significantly cheaper.
