Contrary to what the Austerity nut jobs preach, their policies would bankrupt America and increase to the deficit. Doing NOTHING is the best way to reduce the deficit. Doing nothing wouls save $7.1 trillion, way more than gutting Medicare and Social Security would ever save. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-partisan/post/why-doing-nothing-yields-71-trillion-in-deficit-cuts/2011/11/16/gIQAsOdwRN_blog.html
Can you summarize the article?
cut all military action can save 1000 trillion bucks, but it won't happen in the 2-party dictatorship regime.
the jasmine democratic revolution in NYC, SF, Portland all failed
"cut all military action can save 1000 trillion bucks"
raise your if you honestly don't understand that american economic supremacy and influence are the result of american military supremacy and influence and i can try to explain this to you a little later in the day.
^raise your hand. or foot. any limb or extremity, really. no prejudice.
Deficit spending will bankrupt us? A little counter-intuitive, but Ok, guess its time to max out on the credit cards.
Meant cutting back on spending....

To the Keynsians: If C+I+G= Gross domestic product then if "G", gets increased doesn't that force down our consumption?
I don't think that automatic tax hikes are the answer to anything.
"Meant cutting back on spending...."
Yes, it will. Because Republicans want to totally cancel out any spending cuts with massive tax cuts.
"I don't think that automatic tax hikes are the answer to anything."
Oh yes they are. They are the answer to DEFICITS. And the beauty of AUTOMATIC tax hikes is that the Republicans cannot stop them. By law, taxes go up on January 1, 2013. So set you countdown clock accordngly.
To increase revenue, I would also propose eliminating all 421a abatements, especially for condos on Riverside Blvd.
Socialist, what is your opinion about this woman's predicament:

Seriously. I am interested in discussing with you this woman, who is a taxpayer, works hard, does the right thing but is near poverty and is not a beneficiary of any government programs.
