Discussion about
I am looking at an apartment on the west side that is zoned for PS 111 (District 2) but middle school zoned for District 3. Is that possible? For elementary would a child be eligible for at large programs in district 3 (like ps 333) or district 2? To make matters more confusing, the sister building (same co-op) is zoned 100% district 2. Thanks

hello.
you are in district 2. you will be eligible for middle and high school in district 2. or unzoned CITYWIDE programs. ps 333 is unzoned but only for district 3 children. when you filter the schools for your research on insideschools you can select that compass cross thing for unzoned, but on the individual school page you have to look down under STATISTICS, and Admissions. gl.

So the nyc website is wrong? It says
"Zoned Middle Schools
Notes: District 3 Middle Schools are unzoned" for the address.

yes. the implication being for district 3. it is not unzoned for everyone unless the word citywide is in the description. trust no one. just carry a big stick.
