I know of two in the west 50's...........Central Park Place on W. 57th St (bet. 8th and 9th ave), and The Sheffield- 322 W. 57th St. (both buildings are Condos). Sheffield is great, it's on the 50th floor with an outside sun deck.

Some rentals- The Ritz Plaza (w. 48th St.), MIMA (W. 42nd Street).

Never heard of a definitive list though.....

If you are after a pool 3 Lincoln center has a nice one. Considering the flat real estate market and tons of choices out there, I can't imagine why anyone would not buy into a building with a pool

My records show 263 buildings in Manhattan with a pool....if you'd like to provide a more focused criteria, I'd be happy to pass along a trimmed-down list.

I wonder how many condos or townhomes have pools. We've talked about the premium for terraces; what do we think the premium is a for a pool? I imagine for that individual who values a pool, it is quite high.

Every time a buyer wants to see the pool in some Coop/Condo, no one is using it.

That can be a good thing if you swim on a regular basis.

I feel like the serious swimmers are in and out of the pool before business hours. I only have a few data points, but two of the most driven people I know were serious competitive swimmers at the university level who came to work by 8 am after their morning exercise in the pool. One was the CEO of a company where I was in-house counsel, and the other was a fellow associate in big law.
