anybody have any info. on that building..? why is the maintance so high?

Services. Very old-school New York building...doormen, billiards room, huge garden courtyard etc.

The land lease is to be renewed/renegotiated in June and one of the brokers who always advertises the building in the New York Times and who lives there told us that they are expecting a substantial increase in the maintenance after that. That is why a lot of very big apartments have been on the market there in the last few months. Peopel want to get out now before the ridiculously high maintenance gets even more absurd.

Any updates on the lease situation? Brokers don't answer my emails about it...

heard about pipe issues -- gym pool closed last 6 months due to flooding to commercial spaces -- but mostly land lease issue --always market value ---

Thanks. I think a broker may have mentioned piping issues too at some point. Not good. Just wondering if the lease was renegotiated or not yet.
