Why is this building always in the listings? Because it is the best deal in Manhattan, even if you buy an apartment already renovated.

I went to see some of the available apartments yesterday. According to a woman who has lived there for 4 years, there have been reports of bed bugs. The bldg is trying to do something about it but some people are not cooperating and so the problem persists.

Also, the decor of the bldg inside leaves a lot to be desired. Apartments are all railroad style with long hallways.

we looked at an apartment in there a couple of months ago. It was a 2 bedroom, but the 2nd bedroom was so small you could barely fit a bed in it. Also I think that was the only room with a closet. Not a big fan of the railroad style apt. If you close the double-doors to the large bedroom, then there is barely any light going into the living room. The lobby definitely felt dated.
Frankly, for the price and the maintenance, we thought that we could do better elsewhere. We also want to be near the 2/3 which you do not get in that location. There's nothing overtly wrong with the place, in fact its near some very nice playgrounds and seemed pretty quiet.

I have recently financed a unit in this building, and have it approved for great rates and cheap closing costs. Call or email me to find out more.

Stay away from unit #33. There are outstanding liens on the apartment that have not been resolved in months, nor will they be. Basically it renders the unit unsellable in spite of its being listed.

My client and his wife, currently living in the area are interested in purchasing a 2bed, in this building, similar to 43 & 53 (In Contract). I am trying to find the owner or 43 and 63 to see if they are interested in selling their homes. If anyone has any info, please email me at pedro@triplemint.com. If you are interested in selling your 2 bed, I would be happy to talk to you as well and see if it works for my clients.
