Discussion about 1760 Second Avenue in Yorkville
Love living here. Great staff, clean building, nice neighbors.
Any leak issues at this building I noticed a lot of facade work recently, including waterproffing.
Are there enough elevators to support the building? Also what's the word on East 91st Street marine waste-transfer station?
The waste transfer station is there to stay!

Don't worry about the MTS. There's all sorts of construction in various stages going on right now supposedly in "the area of the MTS", including 2 new facilities for private schools. Work on the waste transfer station has been temporarily shut down right now anyway after someone was almost killed by flying debris from the construction. Now that the mayor has redecorated Gracie Mansion and moved in, let's see how he feels about smelling the garbage like everyone else. No more breakfasts on the patio for his family then ....
My Husband and I are thinking of buying an apartment in this building. Does anyone have feedback on the building and the status the neighborhood. Should we be concerned about windows being blocked on the north side of the building because of air rights? I am greatful for any feedback.
Hi,
I lived in this building a few years ago but had to move to the upper west side. I'm back on the east side now and desperate to get back into this building. I loved it and all of the people who work there so much.
Are there any owners looking to rent? When I lived there previously I rented directly from the owner and it was much easier. I'd prefer to go that route again.
thank you,
Rachel
