Williamsburg North 6th and Wythe

Does anyone know what is happening to the building on the south west corner of North 6th and Wythe? The building looks bricked up from the street level but when viewed from above the roof has just been removed leaving a gaping hole.

According to the people shooting photos of it yesterday: a mini-Carnegie Hall for young classical musicians, and also experimental music, with an auditorium to be located approximately set in 11 feet from the existing walls, run by a non-profit.
