Riversider:

1. perjury is rampant, especially in state court, because most judges make no
effort to punish ir or refer perjurers out for punishment

2. filing any documnent in court with a known material false representation of
fact is a felony under Penal Law section 175.35

3. filing a sworn notarized statement with a known false material fact is also
a felony, under Penal Law section 175.35.

4. in 2010, the state;s highest court, in People v. Daivery Taylor, 14 NY3d 730,
732, reversed the Second Appellate Dept and sustained a section 175.35 felony
conviction vs. an attorney and law firm, ruling that it wasnt necessary for
anyone to read or rely upon the false statement to convict, merely that the
filer filed it with the intent to mislead or deceive.

5. that case is one of less than 10 reported decisions that I have been able to
find in which lawyers were convicted of violating Penal Law section 175.35

False notarization violates Penal Law section 210, and applies to attorneys
under Penal Law section 206
