Discussion about
Is it a combination of the 4 small penthouses? Because one, #16C back then, was sold back in 2007 for $121000.

And 16B sold for $935,000 in 2005.

It seems as if the various owners got together to put all up for sale (and will make a major $$$ bundle). If you look at the floorplan it's obvious that whoever bought this will have to do some major re-configuration to get the right access/flow between the apartments. Bit it could be spectacular when it's done.

The jewel in the crown appears to be #16D. The owners of that one will probably get by far the biggest chunk of the proceeds.

This is an interesting submarket of the UWS large apt market. Prewar PH with terrace, the numbers astound me.

Spectacular (even with major money required to update/renovate) seems to pull in $$$.
Not on UWS, and much smaller living space, but check out

Never got to see it - broker said it went to contract, very quickly, for OVER asking (bidding war?). And considering no pictures of kitchen, baths, etc. probably requires renovation, though not as extensive as 186 RSD.

Yes, spectacular pulls in $$$.

On the other hand, less than spectacular doesn't - even with advantages like an excellent building and low maintenance...

...and weird can languish forever.

Right - and this one will languish, because it's just not as good as its neighbor, but it doesn't know it
No terrace on main level, no separate dining room, only one small bedroom upstairs.
