Why Can't We Permanently Unhide Greys Anymore?

Streeteasy-- There are several posters who are "greyed" whose comments I enjoy reading very much. I used to have them unhidden and they appeared like everyone else. Now I have to unhide them each time I check SE and on each thread. Similarly, we seem to have lost the ability to "ignore" posters we don't wish to see but who haven't (yet?) achieved grey status. Is this a temporary thing or "upgrade"? If its the latter I would send it on the next elevator down. Thanks.

Native, are you sure you're logged in? Once I'm logged in, those I've "ungreyed" stay that way. If you log out, anyone who SE's default troll-controlled reverts to grey.

You are right bjw. Once I logged in to post the comment the problem was miraculously fixed. I've been having some computer issues and I guess at some point I logged out. Thanks for solving the mystery.
