Quogue vs. East Quogue?

Discussion about
Newbie in the area looking for a 2nd home. Big difference in median home prices, even in similar sized lots. What are you getting in Quogue that you are not getting in East Quogue? Thanks

Beach access is better in Q and lower taxes too. If you can buy in the Quogue St area then Quogue is lovely. We have a house on Fox Hollow Dr in EQ and enjoy the easy access to 27, Sportime athletic facility and the North Fork golf courses and our neighborhood has 2 acre lots which is unusual in Q.

E Quogue is completely different from Quogue. Quogue is quaint while the town of E Quogue is a little run down. And E Quogue on Dune Road floods a lot more than Quogue.

Then again, you probably get more value in E Quogue. Quogue is name brand.
