Discussion about
Oy, the latest news from the Dutchess County Cooperative Extension. Late blight has been confirmed on tomato plants in Poughkeepsie. If you live within a 30 mile radius of Poughkeepsie, you may wish to consider using fungicides to protect your tomatoes and potatoes. This site has some very good photos of late blight on tomato plants- http://usablight.org/node/29. Fungicide recommendations can be found in this Cornell fact sheet: http://plantclinic.cornell.edu/factsheets/lateblight.pdf.
What will this do to Columbia County?
That's why I'm bothering telling you so.
