What is the deal with that area? 372, 378, 382 "Central Park West" etc... Are they (Former) housing projects? Once you get to around 100th street, there are a bunch of housing projects.

Apartments seem very cookie-cutter upper east side type apartments, with none of them really being on Central Park West, but really are Columbus, near the new shopping area and very new condos going up. But they are much cheaper on a per square foot basis. Worth it?

How does one get parking in the lots in that complex?

They were middle-income urban-renewal projects. There's a history at http://www.pwvta.org/PWVpast/PWVpast.htm

You have to be a condo owner and than go on a waiting list.

I used to own a condo at 372.I had a good partial view of the park facing south. I think that it's the best building in the complex.
