Discussion about
Recently closed on a 950 sq. ft. Junior 4. Our original choice of contractor did not have their home improvement license. Some of you may have read my earlier posts. Anyway, we need someone that can start yesterday. What we are looking to do: 1) Repaint 2) transform dining area into small bedroom for our 2 year old daughter. 3) Remove popcorn ceiling. There are a couple other minor details but that is the major stuff. Can anybody recommend someone?

Joe O' Brien Construction LLC. Excellent, easy to work with but not cheap. He has a website.

Pablo at 646-642-6506. Licensed and very reasonable: we also had our popcorn ceiling removed/encapsulated. Came out great! Tell him Joanna referred you.

I would though be wary of taking recomendations from posters who have rarely posted on this forum.

I would contact Primer 05 (he has numerous posts on this forum so you can find his contact details - he has several positive feebacks from forum members (you can find them if you search)

Would you mind sharing who you ended up going with? Who you ruled out and why? Am in the process of trying to find a contractor for my one bedroom--floors, kitchen, and painting as well as a few other items. Thanks!
