A borrower @ 97% LTV should not be given a refi without putting up additional equity or doing a cash-in refi. The higher rate is supposed to compensate the lender for taking on credit risk

Does anyone else the the irony of Fannie Mae, a miserable failure of an organization run by equally miserable "leaders", "tightening" standards?
