Inonada, that's the best reason to check your mailbox since the Publishers Clearinghouse Sweepstakes.

Nada's nicer than many, if not most, here, although the self-important social critic and busybody huntersburg would disagree. I think he and dealbot have corresponded in the past. If you will recall, nada actually tried to engage petrofitz at one time.

he's a better person than I am.

That's big of you. I do find it surprising that nada would correspond with the boy because it seems to me that the boy just doesnt listen to reason.

No, the boy has a very strong opinion and he prefers to express it in hyperbole and hysteria. That doesn't mean he doesn't have a point, on some level. His very very real problem is that he imputes his limited reality (which is also not very well thought out, really) onto the vast majority of dwellers. I am a bear who owns two homes, one a massive money sink, one in NYC that beats the shit out of renting. I am a bear and I think there is a great likelihood that prices will have another large decline, and then to me it's a question of demographics and the health/growth of foreign economies. Actually, there are dozens of factors that could be in play, but those are the major ones.

I really just think that this almost moralistic stance that owning is better is bizarre. Very few people now stay the thirty years. And so many sell short of the thirty years to move to someplace cheaper. We painted our walls in PCV. We didn't pay our last month's rent. And we got a check from them because the amount of security deposit we had given them for our last market rental rate was quite a bit larger than our last rent. Nothing was deducted, despite painted walls throughout.

Wait a minute, are you with me or against me? Neither you and I would engage with petrfitz. And you and I are both self-important. In fact, you are important to me, so there.

w67thstreet, remember that time when you said "of the thousands of people who touched my wife"? That always makes me laugh. Thousands. Your wife. Touching.

I have corresponded with Nada offline in the past. That is how we have each other's email addresses. He is pleasant, cogent, and one of the more objective posters on this forum of extreme irrationality. When you want to talk turkey about serious deals/matters, it's best to take it offline.

Didn't he challenge your math the other day?
You've never addressed the challenge that made your point of view look silly. Are you going to? Are you one of the races that inododo says is prone to being heavier?

Reply sent, dealboy.

In the meanwhile, all the rest of youse punks can STFU. But when you are ready to talk turkey about serious matters, you can send an email too.

inonada, you can get a tax credit for time & mileage incurred in your volunteer duties. Thanks for trying to make even the dealboys of our nation into higher-functioning individuals. I love the way dealboy is always smiling and happy. Goodboy.

alan, is the tax credit available if someone chortles and drinks a couple of drinks?

"in real life i'm fairly certain i'd get along with dealboy. we'd chortle, drink a couple of drinks, and spew our reflective thoughts about NYC RE like only NYC RE obsessed people can. or we would ignore the subject and have a couple of drinks and share war stories."
