Discussion about 28 East 10th Street #9C
this is incredible.
Well, there's a winduh over the terlet. What did you expect, $1.8 million?
Agreed. What is so special this warrants a 2.1 million ask for 850 sq. ft. 1 BR 1 BA. Granted great location but????? Mind Boggling and it went into contract. Wonder what the final sale price is, though it probably would still be insanely expensive for that kind of set up and space.
A jump of more than 30% of the 2010 price!
Who could possible be buying this? $2500 per square foot and over $1500 per month in maintenance.
And they claim 840 square feet but the floor plan looks like less.

Not everyone's cup of tea. In fact, didn't you know your friend columbiacounty flipped out when he visited 98 Riverside Drive and there was a window in the shower?
Prewar doorman in the Greenwich village are in short supply. Prices naturally are ridiculous. The sales in this building at $1500+ per sq ft at the peak of the recession is one of the factors which made me turn bullish on prime village real estate. Besides nice reno and location, the building is nothing special vs say 35 east 9th. Of course, it took us more than a year to find the place we really liked without overpaying.
Oh, but Brooks2 and w67 keep telling me everything is going to $500 s/f?.....
Pre-war, doorman, Condo. Still mind-boggling. For a Ninth-Floor apartment. I know some people in the West Village Bing and Bing condos who are very happy to see this...
