If you are looking at this property you may want to be prepared to deal with a dishonest broker and seller's lawyer. While the house is very solid it needs everything. The broker advertise this house as in need of just minor updates, like $8K for electrical while in reality would need ~$40K at least, he claims he got this qupte well we went there with a contracttor and inspector and an expert on renovations and all three said at least 40K. It potentially has asbestos, lead paint, you name it, nothing has been done in decades. The owner expects the buyer to deal with the moving of her belongings and cleaning the house for them. The broker Michael Corley cannot be trusted. We had an accepted offer, our lawyer was working with the seller's lawyer, we were even requested to handle our inspection report to the seller's lawyer because the seller couldn't afford to do it on her own and wanted to use it to protect herself in the contract. We were told we were going to get a credit for it. Well, after we did this we never heard back from the seller's lawyer. Last contact we got was from this "broker" who told us that the seller decided to go with an offer that was $5K higher and poor financials. Who believes that? And of course we were never reimbursed for our expenses! [less]

Hi Readers of this post. I'm the alleged dishonest broker mentioned in the remarks by the disgruntled home buyer. If anyone reading this wants a detailed account of what went on in the course of their failed negotiation to purchase the home, I'm more than willing to provide it. You can always send a message through StreetEasy to me. After obtaining the other side of this story, you can draw you're own conclusion about me at that point.
please simply post the details here--i am quite interested in the real story
so we find another idiot, i mean broker, who pulls out an ancient post and brings it back to life.
did you get your degree in moronic behavior at the deli on corner of eastern parkway and nostrand in 1995?
That deli has been replaced by a T-Mobile.
Isn't the Internet a wonderful place, where people can speak boldly about other people (like ab_11281 and Lo102012) in total anonymity.
Here's the the thing ... If I list it, You'll buy it based on the terms that benefit my clients.
You don't like it, then hope you don't want to view any property I'm listing for sale ... because I'm happy to exhibit moronic behavior when you attempt to negotiate underhandedly as Lo102012 against any homeowner I represent.
Or maybe that's the point you folks don't like ...
and by the way ... please be sure to share my comments with everyone you know.
I'll have no problem repeating them in person to anyone interested ... especially since I have the email and text messages that reveal the kind of people you really are.
... and the new homeowners at the property you lost out on are happy with their purchase and enjoying the area.
"If I list it, You'll buy it..."
Bwahahahaha!!! Another borker bites the dust.
If you're so "honest" and willing, why not post your email/phone/full name here? That way we can all know the truth!! LOL.
[since, it seems, you're too afraid --let's not kid ourselves -- to write it here].
