There is currently on the market an apartment (6K) that has through wall a/c. Is this now allowed in The Century?

6K's through-wall either predates the building being landmarked, or was done when the LPC was more lenient.

There're no recent permits for through-wall work. A couple for the split-AC compressors being placed on terraces not visible from the street.

Thanks, NWT. That's somewhat disappointing.

In October, Landmarks approved the Century's master plan for AC installations. Can't tell if that includes through-wall, or just standards for window units.
