Discussion about 10 East End Avenue #14C
Many of you may remember this property, both from the sale back after the crash and from the funky oven which I bet has it's own story. We poked fun but I tip my hat to this flipper on a remarkable eye and a fast profit during tricky times. Bravo

falco, going by things you've posted in the past, I would have thought this one met almost all your criteria for an apartment (except for lack of formal dining room). Why didn't YOU jump on it?

A pit, needing a huge amount of work. Might not have been timely for falco. Also, with transaction costs coming and going and the costs of renovation, I'm not sure how well they did.

area is right, number of bedrooms is right, terrace (outdoor space is right) even needing renovations, price was right.

SE naysayers made overthinking this one/

The views were very weird. The entire southern view was just feet from a wrap terrace of the adjoining building. The bulk of the windows offered way to little privacy for my taste. The terrace had about the least private feeling of any terrace I've seen. All that being said, internally it was great bones for the price. The resale proves it. Mrs. Falco would have nothing to do with this place. Basically, if we're to gut renovate we're going to live in it. This one had no legs for us.
