Does anyone have an explanation for the high turnover of apartments in this building?

According to the public advocate's landord watch list, this building had 203 HPD violations in 2014 and 195 violations in 2013.

Violations include bedbugs, mice and roaches.

This building has a very very tough coop board. They have turned down multiple applicants, some very financially strong. Be cautious as you proceed in this building. Might be better to consider others in the area that are just as comparable.
