Discussion about The Edge - North Tower at 34 North 7th Street in Williamsburg

My bad - wrong building.
900-1000 psf.
why aren't there any online listings? does anyone know? i find it strange. seems like a lot of new development from apts & lofts go unlisted, i.e., Warehouse 11, soleil, factory lofts, and now The Edge from the developer's group. makes it much more inconvenient and difficult to consider/compare these properties...
Studios mid: 400K
1Br- 500K
2Br- 700K
3Br- 1.1M
kam23, where did you get those #'s. i saw the offering plan and initial release #'s and they were higher than what you are posting. 1 br start in the high 500K but most in the 600's. are they lowering their figures?
someone at the sales office emailed it to me last week. maybe they just quote 500 since there is something in the high 500s? i don't think they lowered any figures.
there is a yahoo group/blog

answer is = too much. It's Kips Bay/Turtle Bay-like prices ($900 - $1,200/sq) for a unit with a decent view of the city. The worst situation is for any unit that is city-facing in 34 N 7th Street building because there's another massive building (by the same developer) going up directly in front of it. Ouch... Sales people will try to downplay it by saying "that plan is 6 - 8 years from now on and it's not guaranteed". which is total BS... From an investment perspective, the Edge or the Northside Piers are bad investments.
SPC, the city facing apts in that building have already been priced in. The city view is just a bonus for 6-8yrs and who knows if they'll ever build the 3rd tower.
