building at 353 Central Park West

I'm new to NYC. This seems a nice building, but is it a safe neighborhood? I noticed there are quite a lot of low income housing in this area?

Spectacular building, layouts are perfect, with well thought out space, view other people see in the movies. An amazing staff. A gem in the city - and the neighborhood is great - ultra safe, excellent shopping, and yes I am prejudiced because I have been fortunate to live here for 25 years.

...and DianeDrey, what are you desperately trying to sell/rent? Assuming Apartment #7 which went on the market right as you made this unprompted shill post?

Irschober, you are BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD, and fabulously insightful.

I remember when this building was built around the beginning of the race for developers to install high end finishes and the builder here bragged about the building being unique because he used solid core doors. And then seeing a string of other developers make the exact same claim. It was unintentionally quite funny (to me anyway).
