Discussion about 220 West 148th Street #1H
I viewed this apartment last Spring when the asking price was "only" $900k. Although the unit is nice and in generally good condition, it has not been "renovated at no spared expense". Aside from painting the rooms questionable colors and placing a few potted plants on the terrace (it is NOT a garden as it has no grass or soil), the unit is exactly how it was delivered from the developer.

All windows face East and all face the first floor courtyard.

Considering its location, the asking price is high, IMO, with a "master suite" of that small size. In fact, all the rooms are small for this price.

I agree with Sonya_D. The rooms are a tad small. And I can't get past forking over $900k to live that far up in Manhattan.

I just noticed this listing comes up as a 3 bed/2 bath apartment. The third "bedroom" is actually an office. It has no windows and legally cannot be held out to be a bedroom. In fact, the current owner was using it as an office when I attended an open house last year.

After sitting on the market for well over a year, one would think the price of this unit would be chopped.
