Discussion about Murray Hill House at 132 East 35th Street in Murray Hill
This is not a land lease building. Murray Hill House is a very healthy coop that keeps its costs down and has very low maintenance at a very high tax deductibility, which is actually the opposite of what you usually find in land lease buildings (generally in land leases you see high maintenance and low tax deductibility because the portion of the maintenance that goes to the ground lease owner is not tax deductible). 132 E 35th St is a very good investment because of its extremely reasonable maintenance, great location between Lex and Park, near all transportation, services, shopping, etc. Hope this helps. What's the deal with the popcorn ceilings? Have there been any problems removing them?
