I'm about to embark on a bathroom renovation project in a co op. My GC is recommending that I also update the pluming since its quite old. However I always thought that if something happened behind the walls ( pluming, electric, etc) in a co op the building would be responsible. Is this not true? Love to hear your thoughts.
