Best Upper West Side Location with toddler

Hi - I am a SAHM moving to NY with a 2 yr old next month. We have decided to focus on the UWS and have found 2 apartments we need to choose between- WEA and 89 and 79 between Columbus and Amsterdam - anyone with young kids have an opinion on which might be better? Closer to classes/activities? I was leaning towards 79th st but it seems like a lot of things are in the upper 80s, 90s. Not a problem now but thinking about January. Thanks!
