Discussion about
I have been hearing a lot of rumors about the rebuilding and upcoming areas in Queens and how Corona/Flushing is supposed to be the new LIC. Has anyone heard about this? I'm wondering how long before you actually see a profit if you buy a property now in Corona, especially the new developments. Also do you know how far along in Corona will be part of the development?
Flushing definitely is and has always been a very strong neighborhood with lots of development, Corona not so much but there is a trickle of activity. Both areas are nice places to live.
"Corona/Flushing is supposed to be the new LIC"
Let's not get crazy here. Unless they put high speed trains in Corona/Flushing, there's no way in hell it will be the next LIC.
Current Lic isnt even "Lic" yet...
Good luck waiting on flushing/corona
I assume LIC = Hunter's Point
Seems to be coming along just fine.

Right... Not yet
Maybe not "new" but "next"? lol. I do love the up and coming LIC area as well and have also been following up on Bloomberg's Hunters Point South development. Trying to keep up with the developments in Queens..particularly around Flushing, Willets Point and Corona side. Check this link out: http://www.queensalive.org/
