Discussion about
Does anybody know if any banks/lenders will give a stated income, asset verification loan these days? Sterling still has such a program. Haven't found anyone else who does so far. Any suggestions?
What types of loans are you talking about, and in what amounts
Walden Savings Bank does one - they do them on a case by case basis. A very small regional bank. They might not want to do in the city but you should ask. They are super easy to deal with. I thought that Investors Savings Bank in New Jersey was doing them but I could be wrong. Also, some banks offer them, then stop offering them, then offer them again. So you need to call around. HSBC had one up until a year ago. It could be back -- you would need to call. Check Astoria, Smithtown and Republic. All these small banks are more entrepreneurial and thus more likely to do one. You could try brokers too, and see what they say. Guardhill Financial is a the most "grown up" and professional and straight talking firm I have dealt with.
Aboutready had trouble getting a loan last year in Williamsburg.
