Hello, I am under the impression that many brokers keeps the listing active when the contract is out and even it's signed. That way when a potential buyer contact the broker for a specific property they offer alternative properties. This is a waiste of time. Street easy is a great web site but it should be updated to make it even better.

"Contract Out". . . or even "In Contract" means nothing until SOLD and CLOSED!
[People change minds and even walk away from Deposit$ all the time!]
Banks, Agents, Boards, and Attorneys, 'help' make [force!] these changes in POV all the time!

SE updates accordingly and its just a matter of learning details and nuances involved.
