Discussion about The Strathmore at 400 East 84th Street in Yorkville

Does anybody live in this building or have any thoughts on it?

And what exactly are "tax abated units"? I'm assuming these are non-market units.

It's in the 17th year of a 20-year 421a exemption.

Apparently the developer agreed that all the apartments be rent-stabilized, and 20% be low-income, in return for the 421a exemption and for financing with tax-exempt NYS bonds.
