Sorry, I don't have experience with this broker. However, that's not because I think all of the Bronx is a "ghetto." Your question deserves as much as respect anyone else's and certainly you should not be disrespected because you asked about the Bronx. This forum is Manhattan-centric and you may not get an answer for that reason. Many people who post here simply don't have knowledge of New York City outside a small section of the island of Manhattan.

Jim married an illegal alien in a baby for housekeeping scheme, so, wouldn't worry about his pov on the Bronx.

"don't have knowledge of New York City" ...

The Bronx is in a city called New York.

"New York City" is a phrase that tourists use.

I have lived continuously in New York City throughout the terms of Bill O'Dwyer; Vincent Impellitteri; Robert Wagner; John Lindsay; Abe Beame; Ed Koch; David Dinkins; Rudy Giuliani; and Michael Bloomberg. I remember trolleys, Ebbetts Field and getting on the subway for a dime. In third grade, we had to learn the history of New York City and in 4th grade we learned the history of New York State (Mrs. Reid taught us to sing The Erie Canal). That's how we could tell them apart -- you know, one is a city and the other is a state.

I've often wondered how many of you here are "native New Yorkers" and how many have come from elsewhere (like my spouse, who arrived in 1969 and would never live anywhere but New York City).

Good morning,

I have met Pamela a few times and she seemed to me to be a reasonable and responsible professional. My understanding is that she focuses primarily on rentals as opposed to selling or listing homes.

Generalogoun,

Although you have me beat by a could of mayors, a trolley and a nickle (I remember the fare at 15 cents). I am also a true blue and orange (although I prefer pinstripes) native. I assume you also attended public school because we still had the City/State curriculum in place when I was in school, complete with the "The Erie Canal". Somewhow I doubt those segments are still in place which is a shame because so many of the kids were born somewhere else or have parents who were (whether the Mid West or the Middle East anywhere out of New York is Not New York). Speaking of parents my mother grew up in Philadelphia and despite living in New York for 55 years when my father, very native born on the Lower East Side adolescence in Brooklyn, passed away he NEVER let her forget she wasn't from here.

http://eriecanalsong.com/ I remember driving to upstate NY as a kid & my mother pointed out the Erie Canal. I don't know why that memory still excites.

Don't know nothing about algebra, but I remember every single word of that song.
