The fool who bought this just lost big-time in housing court.
The RS tenant had originally lived in 8E. The sponsor had a buyer who wanted to combine 8E with another apartment, so the tenant kindly moved to this slightly-larger apartment, retaining her RS status.
As soon as he bought her apartment a year ago, this yutz sued to evict her, saying the apartment wasn't RS because the *previous* tenant had vacated, and that RS status can't be transferred by agreement. Duh, no, FU, said the judge, and now the guy has to pay his lawyers and hers as well.
She's 71. I'm hoping for 100+ if that'd work for her....
