Discussion about
My understanding is that most renter's policies are for 1 year and paid annually.. if you have a 1 month or 3 month short term lease do you merely get the overpaid portion back? Do most carriers even insure for 1 month? Thanks

My understanding is that the policy should be cancel-able at any point during its term, and you would be entitled to a prorated refund of the premium (e.g. for the remaining 'unused' months). Never done it nor spent any serious time on the details, though.
