Kitchen Cabinet/Wood Floor Color for resale

I have an alcove studio (650sf) in Turtle Bay and that I'm starting to renovate. The building was built in the 80s. Your standard midtown East red brick apartment bldg. Nothing spectacular. Doorman, roofdeck, gym. The studio has Western exposure and a full wall of waist high windows so gets plenty of light. I'll be selling it in about 2 years. I have an alcove studio (650sf) in Turtle Bay and that I'm starting to renovate. The building was built in the 80s. Your standard midtown East red brick apartment bldg. Nothing spectacular. Doorman, roofdeck, gym. The studio has Western exposure and a full wall of waist high windows so gets plenty of light. I'll be selling it in about 2 years. What color kitchen cabinets are recommended for resale. It's a small (8x10) pass through kitchen, no window in the kitchen but gets the light from main room. I love the cinnamon/cafe color shaker cabinets but seems white cabinets are the color everyone is going for. What about glass fronts on the cabinets? A selling point or not? Floors: I like the warmer brazilian cherry but see alot of the very light maple in the newer apartments. What are buyers looking for? I suspect my buyer will be the middle aged buyer or UN worker. I don't think Turtle Bay is the trendiest neighborhood (in comparison to Soho, Tribeca, etc) but incredibly convenient to midtown. [less]
