Discussion about 185 West End Avenue #15J
Too Expensive. 439k!? Really? Are all the Lincoln Towers brokers just trying to drive up the starting prices? Non-renovated kitchen. Non-renovated bathroom. Need removal of murphy bed. Low floor. Does not justify the 439k price tag, should be closer to 399k. Does anyone else agree?

If it's too expensive, don't buy it.

The market will ultimately determine if it's too expensive.

Funny, I have had exactly the same thoughts about the LT brokers over the last few months. The prices there are particularly outrageous now. It may be because a few brokers cover most of the sales which is somewhat of a unique situation with it being such a large complex.

Agree RE NY. They can ask whatever they want. Of course it's up to the buyer and it looks like the market is determining the outcome already. Below is a 1BR that was lowered 50K and when you get a load of the "Mad Men" kitchen, it can drop another 50K. It's ok, if they have the time to wait it out and have no other listings, fine. The two bedrooms in contract almost appear to be bargains compared to the rest.

RealEstateNY, that's a useless comment. I was asking if anyone else agreed with my analysis. I guess in the end I may have been right, price just dropped 20K.
