Walker Tower

Why? If you were actually interested in the building, wouldn't you be dealing with someone there, or a broker who would be dealing with someone there? Are you just here to cause trouble?

It's a fair question. I asked it 2 months ago as it is an unbelievable eyesore in Chelsea's skyline.
Info seems to be held close to the vest as any news reads like a PR brief on it.
With $3000 per sq ft units, I could see why the tight controls.

But since my initial post 8 weeks ago, the drapes have been coming off slowly from the center of the building, which does look fairly nice. Problem is it appears as if they are only doing partial exterior uplift which makes the top 10 or so floors like an awkward extension.
Might not usually be a big deal but when your the tallest building for blocks, it looks bad.

It might not be finished by the time your Visa expires and you have to go back to where you came from.

I saw it and although I am often down on new developments or conversions because they are generic, Walker Tower I felt stood out as one of my favorites, surprisingly so. When I originally saw the building it was supposed to be starting closings in the fall of this year but I have no idea where they are at now with closing timelines.

I like to drive while listening to Radiohead. I'll be on the road, listening to it as the sunrises.

I visited them a week ago and was told the closing will start by the end of this year... will double check... I think they have done a nice work inside, oversized windows, high quality finishing, feel very homey.
